💰 This price is considered an excellent value, especially with an additional $20 off using code WELCOME20.
🔄 Shoppers debated alternatives like the F3 Pro and ZT3 Pro, highlighting differences in weight, suspension, and intended use (city vs. rugged terrain).
📦 Shipping is noted as unavailable for Quebec addresses, and a 20% restocking fee applies to returns, causing some hesitation.
🚨 Community Members discussed the legality of e-scooters in Toronto and the challenges of transporting them on public transit.
⏱️ The deal proved very popular and quickly went out of stock, disappointing members who missed it.

Great deal this is a better version of the D38U everyone bought I think It was last year. I currently have a D38U Great scooter and nice and light. I believe I paid 499 back then. Anyone looking for an adult beginner scooter this is a great deal.
Having said that I did jump on the Best buy f3 deal as it was too good to pass up.
Why it's better then the D38U
- Rear wheel drive
- TCS Skid Resistant
- Self sealing tires
- Front turning signals (Comes in handy more than you would think)
Below is my post from the D38U thread.
My Height 5'5
weight about 180ish
My trip from my house to the Go station > Union to my office > Office to Union > Go station home
is about 13KM give or take.
I start with a full charge by the time I get home I'm at about 58%. I only ride in sport mode so I would say you should get around 25-30 KM. I did take it this week and I do notice the cold dose affect the battery a bit.
Overall very happy with the purchase. Got to remember this thing only weighs like 30 pounds as well which is nice for portability. A friend of mine has the version with the shocks and stuff and it is noticeably heavier.

and my son talked about a ebike but we went to look at them and they are big and heavy. I would rather get a scooter for now.

This looks like a better deal, but the thing weights 65lbs ... rugged tho...

So they don't accept returns for open box scooters and there is a 20% restocking fee?
Wouldn't the Niu k2 pro or k100 be a better buy on Amazon when it's on sale due to being able to return the product?

Very tempting, have been looking one for my 15 year old. Noticed returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee so a bit hesitant to impulse buy.

Can’t really compare this with the F3 Pro.
This thing doesn’t even have suspension, where the F3 Pro has dual suspension and dual disc brakes.
I’d be more interested in what is the better deal out of the ZT3 Pro and the F3 Pro.
Any opinions?

I have the g3 max and dont regret paying more because its the best of both worlds between these choices. I would say that the zt3 pro is more of a vehicle where the f3 pro is borderline toy when comparing their weight, size , power, suspension. The zt3 pro if your going off road. The f3 pro or light city driving. The zt3 pro if you have the space and dont need ro carry it far. The f3pro for portability , smaller spaces.

ZT3 Pro:
- cost $300 more
- weighs more - not really portable unless you can carry 65lbs around like a golf bag.
- more rugged, durable
- can ride on dirt trails (more fun)
F3 Pro:
- costs $300 less
- marginally portable, 43 lbs
- less durable
- only good for riding on pavement
- probably a bit smaller

the selling point is the slightly lighter weight. You take what you can get with that, even a few pounds, especially if you have to walk up stairs

F3 Pro also supports an external battery coming out later this year. That to me is a major advantage.

Do folks lock these up on the bike racks at the ttc station? What's the best way to drive this to the subway station without actually having to lug it around.

If you lug it to the bike racks at a TTC station daily, I'll give it a less than 6 months before it gets stolen.
Folks I know with a Segway will usually lock it up in private bike parking in their work building or etc.
You can also just take it with you onto the TTC/GoTrain or etc, there is no enforcement.
